- Fixed the sorting of the auto brief dictionary to actually give higher priority to more recent entries.

- Fixed the 'currently showing' drop down to properly show the notes in the notes section of the 'Create job from diskette' dialog.
- Added a field in the 'found double word' spellcheck dialog for text to optionally insert between the doubled words.
- Changed audio files so that they may specify relative (rather than absolute) paths, and so that a relative path is the default. This makes it much easier to archive and restore transcripts with associated audio on computers with different user names.

- Added the ability to write Realtime output directly to a file (instead of to a com port or ethernet port).
- Added a new Job Menu action "Send to CD/DVD drive", which sends transcripts and associated files to the 'Burn these files to CD' folder for easier transcript archiving. This feature is only available on Windows XP and newer, and only if you have a CD or DVD burner.
- Made the dictionary choices in 'Add to which dictionary' static --so Job is always '1', first In Use dictionary is always '2', etc.-- and added 'J' 'T' and 'P' as additional accelerators for the first three dictionary choices (for better TC compatibility).
- Added "Edit speaker IDs" to the Job Properties and style sheet dialogs (in the Dictionary tab).
- Added the ability to add or change the job dictionary of a job from the Job Menu.

- Revamped the real.conf saving/loading routines to allow for the new Realtime settings, to read in legacy Realtime output settings, and be laid out in a slightly more readable fashion.
- Cleaned up the instruction pane for the Job Menu slightly: added the 'Send to CD' option (if available) and moved the Slash for show/hide to be always at the bottom (so the / for more and / for hide/show window appear at the bottom all the time). This gives just a little more space for instructions.
- Fixed the Pre-Edit conflict resolution box so that the numbers follow the conflict choices if they should happen to scroll.
- Increased the font size of the Pre-Edit 'Select which conflict choice' dialog.
- Added a white border around the toolbar icons, for better display when using a dark background.
- Added an option to the dialog which appears when you select impossible margin/font size/characters per line combinations, to simply return you to the job properties to fix the problem manually.
- Fixed the hotkey and turbokey recording's ability to record the right Control key.
- Fixed RTF dictionary import of conflicts so they import into SmartCAT dictionaries properly.
- Changed the editor column and page break lines to use the normal foreground color (rather than black) in order to have better visibility on dark backgrounds.

- Added "Translate Job" and "Job Properties" to the right-click context menu on the Job Menu.
- Slightly rearranged the Job Menu instruction panel for readability and clarity (and to add the new shortcuts to it).
- Set the 'No more matches found' dialog box so that it doesn't allow you to click out of it without closing it.
- Added the ability for 'Copy' and 'Move' Job Menu functions to remember the destination paths.

- Changed tagalong during Realtime so it only moves the cursor to the end of the document if text is produced as the result of a translation. Thus, multiple oneshots in a row can be used without moving the cursor position between them.
- Fixed a problem which would cause attempting to display condensed printing, with 'Shrink the font for those sheets' selected, to crash SmartCat.
- Fixed an error which caused the last two backups in the backup list to be unavailable when hitting Control-B on the Job Menu.

- Added 'Ctrl-P' as an alternate keyboard shortcut for the job properties on the Job Menu.
- The Start Realtime token is now properly ignored when returning from RealEdit to Realtime mode.

- Added a pointer to several boxes which were popping up without them, so they can't accidentally pop behind windows and steal keyboard interactivity.

- Corrected an issue which would cause translation to slow down in long transcripts when number formatting is enabled, and which would cause it to slow down drastically when number formatting was enabled and logging was on.
- Corrected an issue which would cause Alt-F9 to use an obsolete search method for finding spelling words, resulting in words appearing as misspelled when they were properly in the lexicon.
- Changed the rules for number recognition to not exclude certain types of numbers which should not be excluded.

- Revised the Import Notes dialog. It now lists all the jobs with their creation date and number of notes to make selection easier. It also delays loading of the actual strokes until the notes are displayed, if applicable.
- Added the 'Scan to next/previous number' function. Assigned Control+3 to scan to the next number, and Control+Shift+3 to scan to the previous number.
- Added the Bridge output protocol, including editing updates!

- The Number Formatting Setup dialog has keyboard accelerators for the checkboxes.
- The quotation turbokey will no longer replace commas (they now appear inside the quotes).
- Translation percentages will no longer count globals as resolved conflicts.
- An issue wherein Phonetics would cause the space preceding it to be unassociated with steno (meaning you could not global the preceding word together with the phonetic), was fixed.

- Deleting a word with 'd' will now merge spaces properly, not delete the following punctuation, delete to the end of a word if the cursor is in the middle of the word, delete *only* selected text when things are selected, delete whole words when a whole word is highlighted and/or your cursor is at the beginning of the word and generally behave just like TurboCAT did.
- By placing the cursor at the beginning of a section of text to be selected, entering select mode and then using the Find function (Ctrl-F) to search for the first word of the following section, SmartCAT will now select the intervening content.
- Hotkeys now do not execute until the Alt + Control/Shift keys are released. This results in a smoother and less awkward Hotkey execution.
- Undo ('z') has been extended from 15 to 50 steps giving the user more flexibility while editing.

- "Translate in all caps" has been replaced with "Display and Print in all caps" which switches the *display* to ALL CAPS without actually altering the file. This allows SmartCAT to display, edit and/or print in ALL CAPS with fewer issues.
- The Theory settings have been moved to another dialog. There's now one dialog for all translation theory settings and translation options. This dialog is accessible from the 'Tools' menu, the Realtime Settings box, the Job Properties or the Style Sheet itself.
- Switched the '-' command around so that '-' always stitches/unstitches while in highlight mode and always hyphenates/unhyphenates while in select mode (so -s- always works as intended) to better resemble TurboCat behavior.
- Checking the 'Number Bar for Numbers' option in 'Theory Settings/Translation Options' no longer conflicts with dictionaries.

- Files created or opened in SmartCAT 3.0 now have a version number embedded in the file allowing versions of SmartCAT newer then 3.0 to detect if the file was created in a newer or older version as well as prohibits versions of SmartCAT older then 3.0 to open newer files at all. As we make updates and add features to SmartCAT, the structure of a job changes. This addition protects your job from potential incompatibilities or corruption.
- When SmartCAT creates a bookmark or index entry, the selected text is what is actually highlighted with the bookmark or index entry color.
- Hitting Tab at the beginning of a line or paragraph will insert spaces rather than changing the paragraph's indent.
- When you select text and use comma, your cursor will end up at the beginning of what you'd selected (like TurboCAT).
- Replace window disappears if "Replace All" is chosen.
- The concordance now excludes everything on its exclude list properly.
- Conflicts are smarter about capitalization, both in the conflict itself and when punctuation in the resolution affects other text. The capping is figured when the conflict is actually resolved.
